Hex Car Royale

Hex Car Royale is a survival driving game set on an arena made of hexagon tiles. The twist is that the floor does not stay in one piece for long. Every tile a car drives over starts to fall away, and soon the arena is full of holes. Several cars race around at once, and only the last one still on the floor wins the round.

The game keeps the controls very simple. Your car speeds up on its own, so you only have to steer. Tiles that have been driven over change colour, which warns you that they are about to drop, and you need to keep your wheels on safe ground. When a gap opens in front of you, you can jump over it, and pressing jump again while in the air lets you fly a little further. Coins are scattered around the arena for you to collect, and you can ram rival cars when the chance comes along.

The fun of Hex Car Royale comes from how quickly the arena changes. At the start there is plenty of room, but every car leaves a trail of falling tiles behind it, so the safe space shrinks fast. You have to think about where you are going, not just where you are, and plan a path that will still be there a few seconds later. Bumping into rivals adds a playful, chaotic side to each match, and the final moments, when only a few tiles remain, are always tense.

Some tips to help you finish first:
- Look for big patches of untouched tiles and head toward them early.
- Avoid driving in tight circles. You will destroy the ground around you and leave yourself nowhere to go.
- Save your double jump for wide gaps. The extra float in the air can save a round.
- Ram rivals only when it is safe. A risky bump near a hole can send you falling instead of them.
